Butterfly Museum

During some time off, I took Mikey and Suzy to the Butterfly Museum. I had never been there before and though it would be a neat place to go. It was cool. Hundreds of butterflies were all around us.
Quite a few landed on Mikey- this one is on the head!
One on the hand of a lady there.
They had other fish, birds, lizards... these fish were huge!
Loved this butterfly when it had its wings open
Both of them had butterflies on them.
Each of us had a butterfly on us. It was cool. Mine was on there like the whole time. We actually had to shake it off when we wanted to leave.

Yankee Candle on V-day

For Valentine's Day, Nate and I went up to Yankee Candle. It was a nice trip. We hadn't been in years, so it brought back some memories!

Artic Blast

A few weeks ago we went up to Camp Northfield for a Family Arctic Blast. There were about 15 or so of us from church that went up and it was so much fun! We were all pooped that nite when we got home.

Salem Cross Inn ... Date Nite!

Nate and I went out on a nice dinner date at the Salem Cross Inn in MA. We received it as a Christmas present. It was very different, but fun! The whole meal is pretty much made in front of us and the customers can even take turns to help prepare it too! We started off on a nice horse drawn sleigh ride! It was a little cold, but the stars were beautiful!

This is the roasting pit. Nate was very intrigued by it! The prime rib was delicious!
They were making the apple crisp! This too was also delicious!
Stirring the clam chowder! Mmmmm!!!
Some of the antiques around the Inn
Some of the decor around the room!
Yes, that is ALL Whipped Cream. The guy was having way too much fun doing a "dollop" of it!
Awe!

Date night with the kids?!

After a wonderful dinner and opening of presents, Nate and I took Zoe and Robert out for a special night! We all went to Bright Nights at Forest Park in MA. We all had fun! It was a great time to spend with the kids as well as giving mom a break! Once we got into teh park, we had the kids sit on our laps to see things a little better! They were quite the photographers! They took a million pictures of the sites! Robert also did a wonderful job helping Uncle Bub drive! No accidents or tickets! ;)
